Where are the ppl that like grooved bearings? Grooved are super icky feeling imo, too snaggy. I thought this was pretty much the consensus unless they’re for an x div w short string. Also bearings are definitely not all the same. Shape definitely changes how a yoyo feels to play imo like flat vs kk is a pretty big difference. i can do my tricks w either so it’s not like it matters critically, but like yo—there is definitely a difference. Idk sorry it’s just the meme thread and it’s w/e lol I’m being a nerd. Just wanted to share my opinions or smt idk

I’m a noob, and the only non-responsive I have with flat bearings is the OD M2 I picked up recently, which I really like. Now you’ve got me curious and I’m gonna need to grab some more flat bearings to try in some of my other throws.
Better yet, where my convex bearing people at?!

Same. I only have one flat bearing and it’s in my Terrarian. I like it quite a bit because of how smooth it plays, like glass smooth. The fact that it processes easier poses a challenge I gladly accept, and now I have a really good throw to learn suicides on.
My opinion on bearings is the same on yoyos: I like variety.
Hmmm okay coooool bc grooved is also like a specific type of bearing that is distinct from kk or ct but yo okay cool I understand now
