Damn! That must’ve been January (MAYBE February) then because I was down in Mississippi for tech school for the military at the time. I was there from Oct ‘07 to Feb ‘08 and I thought it was near the tail end of ‘07. Thank you though!

It came out almost immediately after the 08 drop. I had one myself. Pretty sure there was still snow on the ground. You needed to get an email from red alert to go to a special site to buy it
