just my opinion.
but I do not think it is correct to define this yoyo “MWB” (mint with box) or otherwise “mint” for at least two reasons:
- It is a yoyo played and damaged which then was made a mechanical polishing manual processing (aka manual material’s removal), so the yoyo is no longer as new, or otherwise as sold by the Manufacturer.
- The mirror finish is not the original finish of this yo-yo.
as in step 5 of the Regulation specifies:
5. Yo-yos - Please state Whether original or altered and the exact state of the yo-yo including any marks, cracks, or issues with the yo-yo.
I think it would be correct to describe more “clearly” the yoyo and its history, even against for fairness those who have the same yoyo and has retained accurately over the years without using it.
I understand why the ‘completely mint’ may be misleading for some. That’s why following sentence in your quote is there. I think that it’s clear that the yoyo was polished, there’s even a picture attached of when it was damaged. It appears to be completely mint now, as there is no longer any damage.
