Looking for raw version
Jefferies visual depiction of the patina that develops to that point after seven months of use are obviously straightforward and very accurate.
And his note that the actual stage and advancement of the patina is subject to the humidity the yo-yo is exposed to overtime. There is one more thing that you should not fail to consider.
Obviously everybody that’s alive on this planet perspires To 1 degree or another.
And it varies from person to person where they perspired or sweat or whatever you wanna call it? Some people’s feet sweat some people get beads of sweat on their face. Some people under arms sweat so much they have to wear pads under their arms.
And then there are the people whose hands sweat. As often is not the hands don’t just sweat moisture, they sweat various degrees of salt and oil, and anything else that went into your body and wants to come out in the form of sweat.
What does that mean? Glad you didn’t ask.
That means that if you get A raw magnesium, yo-yo, if you have sweaty hands, that raw MG may not look anything like that before, and after image that you posted up.
Obviously, you can take in the consideration that if you end up with a raw MG, you can’ control part of that situation even if your hands sweat a lot.
First of all before you throw a raw MG wash your hands thoroughly with some wild soap and very warm water and dry them off thoroughly. After you play with the yo-yo before you put it away get a soft cloth and wipe it off thoroughly.
Just realized that raw magnesium doesn’t like outside elements. Doesn’t like chemicals doesn’t like moisture doesn’t like much of anything. That’s why most magnesium products are coated in one way or another to protect them from outside elements like the environment or chemicals or oils or whatever you wanna call them?
I know you didn’t ask for the advice, but since the yo-yo is not cheap, I figured I’d provide you with a public service announcement. Being a structural welder and fabricator for the last half century, I studied a lot about metalurgy. I personally don’t delve into welding exotic metals very much because that’s just not what I weld. But at the same time because magnesium is a metal it’s been part of my study and fascination for decades. So even though I am not a metal expert, you could say without hesitation That I know a thing or two About metal.
Good luck… I have the white coated Luftverk MG And it is an amazingly good yo-yo.
Found! thanks all
