It’s summer, it’s hot, but the birds are still chirping and I wanna see em!

The PIF for the Ptarmigan has come to a close and I have the half swap of Bird Berries and Foliage I wanna give to a community member.

My dad passed away in 2022 on Christmas Eve. The old wives tales say that when you see a Cardinal it means it is a loved one who has passed coming to visit you. This guy loves my bird feeder and comes and sits on my mailbox a lot when I am sitting on the porch. I like to think its my dad so thats why its my favorite picture.
Dunno if old pics count, and I’m a pretty bad photographer, but I really liked how this one turned out! They were all over a local path along cliff sides in January right before I became a parent. The blue really was that bright!
You beat me to posting a chicken pic! This is our favorite, named Porch Chicken. She likes to escape and hang out. Steal the cat’s food. Or the doughnut out of my hand…
