It’s worth picking up if you can find one!
What is that brass hubstack one?
Time to bring back the MicroMo. ![]()
All this talk of minis, decided to dust off the Dingo (Gen 1). Still pretty impressed how well it plays considering its higher walls, narrower profile, and smaller diameter. Hopefully OD does another run of the Gen 2 Dingos…I kind of missed that train.
They are so cute!
I am holding out for that tiny sengoku I think.
Lathed Back Design Bangarang followed VERY closely by the Arc1 Hybrid….that he still hasn’t released but I own a proto of.
(Depicted here next to a MagicYoyo Y04)
Bangarang because of it’s TINY size but but actually decent performance (even though it is REALLY hard to play that way).
And the Hybrid because it’s performance is just…crazy. I can do 30+ sec tech combos on it.
Sorry for going a little bit offtopic, is 66% 888 worth it?
I mean, I’m very much enjoying my regular 888 (the one from the most recent rerun), but how good the 66% version (especially considering the pricetag).
Not sure if this counts as mini or very undersized but the RSO x ILYY E1nsTien is a phenomenal throw. I was super lucky to have been able to snag this one recently.
I’ll be so on it when arc1 finally drops that hybrid lol
I wish LBD was still doing the thing I loved all their stuff and a bangerang and legrange whee/are on my long list eventually. (Cost wise that’s like some of the Luftverk stuff even if it’s available it’s harder to get)
Yeah I don’t know if another mini/micro will be coming again. Or another run of Lagrange. I do seem them pop up on the secondairy market every now and then though.
Joel is currently finishing up a first full size yoyo run. If it’s a succes he might do another one after it.
I’m super hyped for that one. But the minis really are super cool as well.
And yeah that Arc1 hybrid……..I have a feeling quite a few people are waiting for it.
it’s only 66% as good ![]()

Hey this is me, lol.
I love my counterjet. It plays really well like it is just a good and fun yoyo. I don’t feel like I have to fight it to get through longer combos and I like that.

Some actually mini yoyos I have tried at club and liked enough to remember were the dingo 2, 44cubeclash (?i think that was what is was called?), uhhh the outlier mini, and that’s all I can remember. Most mini yoyos have underwhelmed me, so it is nice when I try one and am surprised.
It plays very well for its size. Your trick accuracy, control, and staying on plane will matter alot more at scale. If you love the character/challenges that organics add to play, this boosts those traits. It’s small with an A size bearing gap, mid height sidewalls. I prefer thin string with this. The hubstacks work as expected. I can land tricks like kamikaze and kwijibo, combos of stuff like that, skin the gerbil, longer rollercoaster style tricks. I can whip and slack and dna it, gyro it, tower tricks. Think I can do a finger grind with very dry hands. just gotta be really accurate, mindful of your movements, etc. If you prefer more stability, stainless shutter is better in that regard.
Where do I find info on this new Arc1 Hybrid? Do they have an insta? Got any pics?
Many thanks!
Probably easiest to @Grapes
