Sounds better to call it an aftermarket modification. Added some matador spikes.

Couldn’t agree more. It gets about 3 threads in each half with that 8mm. I thought most yo-yos can handle a 10mm without blowing through the hub lol
Tbh I can’t believe the hub thickness is that low on a Shutter. they are designed unlike most other moderns with weight shifted more towards the middle and hub than the rim. That inner foil design or whatever they call it. Helps keep it on place for those endless hops Gentry does
