Miro Drops tomorrow at 9 AM PST

Miro an undersized yoyo, in the most Edition way possible, aka slapping giant stainless steel rims onto it. Per half the Miro is 2/3rd’s stainless by weight, and 1/2 stainless by width. During Miro’s ideation I was working on a few projects and a possible collab which resulted in some trickle down elements found in Miro’s ring.

Could we push the width while retaining good impact performance so far away from the interface. Additionally with such a large ring the risk becomes a “rock-like” play feel. The result was a rim which concentrates weight toward the interface yet keeps any unwieldiness at bay by spreading the distribution outward.

Looking inward we kept the cup simple, plenty of center weight in the bump, a 10 mm axle, and fairly optimized walls.

The result is a powerful, controllable, tech-first design which hits hard. Should be a fun one, see you at the drop at 9 AM August 7th (tomorrow):
