I would like to collect the series Duncan produced in 1995. Does anyone know how many different yo-yos Duncan produced for this series? Thanks for your help.

The 1955 series was made for Duncan by Brad countryman of Tom Kuhn fame. Unlike the originals these copies are three piece throws and very nicely finished.

The 1955 yo-yos were reproduced in plastic cases in 1995 as commemoratives. Hence, the two different dates.

There was also somewhat of a big stink that when he made them that there wasn’t enough to differentiate from the old originals.

Colors or models? There is a lot of three on the auction site and they are Tournaments. In some of the post above I see different models and color combinations with that packaging. There is also a Super Tournament and Jeweled Tournament

And sadly, it looks as though he’s trying to pass them off as being from 1955. Buyer beware.
