The original Dingo first hit the scene in November 2009, back when One Drop was just two years into making yo-yos. It was the fifth model released, and now, nearly 100 models later, the Dingo is making its long-awaited return!
The Dingo was a true pocket-sized powerhouse, delivering impressive spin time in a compact frame. It featured the old pressed nut axle system, which was later updated to a tapped axle in a final 2014 run. Since then, fans have been asking for a comeback, and after a decade on the shelf, One Drop knew it was time to bring the Dingo back—with a modern refresh.
The new Dingo keeps the same 46mm diameter but gets some key upgrades. One Drop stuck with a tapped axle but redesigned the cup with a flat floor, placing the iconic Dingo stamp right in the center. The catch zone is widened for better playability, making string hits easier, and the weight has been fine-tuned—bringing it down from 63g to a more balanced 57.8g. The result? A refined, more agile Dingo that keeps the original’s pocket-sized charm but feels smoother, lighter, and ready for today’s play.
