While I think that gold flake does look cool, I kinda like their whole approach now. I think those pastel shades really let the alternative material, in this case cerakote, really shine. I feel like those shades work well with matte finish, giving it that really full look.

Yeah I’m torn. I think I’d regret not getting the one with my favourite colour on it, but that mottled dark grey base looks so intricate and cool.
These spiderweb-sorta anodisations that OD have had more of lately are just not as infinitely entertaining to look at as the chaos of the classic splashes, especially acid wash ones.

Yeah you can feel them slightly w fingernail or squeezing your fingers directly over them but it’s minimal.

You see I pretty much set up the stay gold one just like the EDition ones. Spikes, sealed greased bearing, thick string. So I know I’m going to love how they play out of the box. But I really dont need another one

Same here. Might set the stay gold as stock and get an edition and keep that stock.
Also stay gold doesn’t have the go faster sight lines.

I feel like the deepest state in fact did it’s job this afternoon and lived up to it’s name… brain began to venture down the doom rabbit hole (it’s been a very long and chaotic work week plus just ongoing stuff that’s been eating at me)… stepped outside and threw for a few minutes and was a great brain reset, entered the deepest state of chill and glimmer of “me time”.
