These “Top 5” type threads have kinda always been what I’m feeling in the heat of the moment lol… I don’t blame you. I’m always like “Okay, okay… THIS is my top 5” and then I’ll throw something that same day and be like “Ah damn I should’ve had this in there.” Like… right now, I’m thinking about the 5 I want to post and I always have my Citizen and Alpine in there, but that’s no fun seeing the same yoyos over and over again. So this one will be more what I’m feeling in the moment.

Also… I feel like doing an “All Time Top 5” would be wayyy too hard. There are just too many factors to consider: sentimentality (huge for me - unfortunately lol), which is the “best performing”, which ones are my favorite feeling, which ones have the dopest design, which ones are considered legendary classics even though I may not pick them up as much, etc. I think the best I could do is “Top 5 in each category.” But you’re right, sometimes I go back through the thread and look at some of my earlier posts when I got back into throwing and think “THAT was in my top 5? 
” It’s one of the few situations I’m glad I actually do have a sizable collection now, because I have a much larger reference point and can more accurately and confidently say “I’ve tried/owned a bunch… here’s my fav 5”

I think I’ve played the same yoyos all year: Diorama, Ti888, plastic Grind Machine & AlleyCat 650b.
I haven’t rotated anything from my living room shelf this year, been a hectic year. But have a couple new ones on the way, so I’ll be adding those in.

As for comparing the two, OG one will be a little floatier on string
But BTM is more stable and you can feel the weight of brass ring, which makes it a little more powerful
Even though it is same spec but different experience to me.
