Yoyo Coins

Pretty cool that the OD yoyo coin is worth 75$ now. Saylor is predicting a 13 million dollar Bitcoin in coming years which means the yoyo coin would be worth around 10k (I think). I wonder how many yo-yos that will buy then?!? Maybe I should try to stack more yoyo coin?

13 million is only like 20% ARR over 20 years. Quite conservative based on past performance.

I hope you’re right because then I’d be very wealthy but I’m not holding my breathe lol.

I don’t have your optimism. I feel the many many rug pull schemes and unregulated shenanigans in crypto will tarnish any hope of utilizing any crypto currency by mainstream markets and that will eventually be its downfall. Making in essence all crypto short lived in my mind.

If someone did finally regulate it I feel that would kill the innovation and the momentum and that would be the final nail in the crypto coffin

If anybody needs a laugh check out pump.fun streams absolutely hilarious. There was a dude streaming on the toilet until his coin hit a certain market cap. Don’t know if its still going though.

Pump fun is so dystopian it’s depressing…

This really drives home my point without having to say much

How have we not hit maximum stupid? When does the bubble pop? It has right? the speculative values of stocks and coins is absurd and so over inflated the only path is an inevitable sharp and painful crash.

24/7 Wall Street sounds like a nightmare too. When I saw that I gasped. I get what you’re saying. I can’t mentally get behind any of it but I’ve also played the let’s take this ride till it kicks me off game and got burned and had to start my retirement over.

Respectfully, can we keep the thread on topic? I frequent the YYE forums to avoid these topics that inundate me everywhere else

At least make a specific thread on the coin stuff. I keep checking this thread thinking there is One Drop news… I’m waiting on onfo for the Warlock.

Why of course, the best play to have a Cryptocurrency discussion is on a children’s toy forum, obvs

Is there a better place to discuss yoyo coin than a yoyo forum?

Where yoyo coin mention? This looks like it’s discussing cryptocurrency as a whole. Furthermore, this is discussing US politics and economy on a global website (arguments can be made that this affects global issues, but were not actually mentioned).

With respect to @SmashYoyos and others who are on a brand thread (im)patiently awaiting news of a new throw, I’m ending my side of the discussion here. Fwiw, I, too, escape to YYE to escape the doomscrolling. There are other, better places online that are both more receptive to crypto, politics, economy, religion (a different thread), etc and more equipped to handle any issues that arise.

In summary, if I wanted to read depressing, dystopian ■■■■, I wouldn’t bother being on this site when pretty much any other form of social media can force feed it to me

Very sorry to have offended you but posting that yoyo coin was now worth 75$ and responding to the remarks that followed. I will delete all of my posts now and never mention it again.

I’m not offended, it just feels out of place. Tbh, I didn’t even know there was a yoyo coin at all, which is pretty dope. And that people actually follow it rather than being, well… Not a good coin like we see so commonly now

It’s not a real cryptocurrency, it’s basically just a Onedrop coupon with a value pegged to a fraction of Bitcoin.

Fair enough, thank you for explaining

A physical coin too. I think that got lost along the way. Like a collectors coin, and as it looks to me, they only put a dollar value behind it to give it more meaning. Which I think is a misunderstanding of the product.

When I first saw that on the OD site, I was disappointed, that they would attach their gimmick fan-coin to such nonsense as bitcoin. Crypto is just investment-mass for high risk investments. A stupid simple scam, no other way to put that.

And I don’t think any real company, dealing in the capital of a real product, should associate with such investment scams.

OD could attach the value of the coin to the revenue of their company. That would make way more sense. Or something truly random, like how many times in a month was the owner wearing a red shirt, or how many pizzas were delivered to the office and so on. If you trade in a product, that is a toy for ppl to play with, then make that coin a play-thing too.

I think this topic does not add anything to this community.

Can we make a quick “raise of hands”?
