One more accounted for
I wouldn’t bother trying to figure out how many silver ones there are, nobody knows
Silver plated ones? ![]()
Yarp, I only found out in the last year after one fell into my hands locally. Don’t think they ever officially released, plating issues I suspect
Hmm… you’re conjuring some kind of memory in my head but I don’t know if it’s real.
I’ve scoured the Flickr and could find no evidence. Can find evidence of 5 other silver throws but this one is rumored there’s about 10
Edit: think its similar to the copper Terrarians that never released, though those were because of pulse vibe post plating
and those are on the Flickr
One of the fun things about One Drop: always more history to find ![]()
Yep it’s so true! ![]()
I’ve been trying to catalogue the original release date and price for all of my yoyos which is super difficult to reverse engineer from what’s been archived (and sometimes impossible when there are solid colour re-runs) but I’ve had some success. My ultimate goal is to adjust the original price for inflation and compare it to the price I paid to find the delta. I recently worked out that the median price I’ve paid for a One Drop yoyo (including postage & fees) is ~81 USD, whereas the mean is more like 105 USD.
Wow. In my world that qualifies as “seriously quant.” ![]()
Not criticizing! Curious. Simply for understanding? Done things like that myself; enjoyment of the hobby and all that.

As in quantitative analysis?
