has anyone tried to do kwijibo on a responsive yoyo? I tried last night and its pretty difficultā¦ it keeps returning on me on the last hop into trapeze

Iāve been doing this for awhile, and had it automatic. I even now do it right into Matrix as a combo on a fixed axle.
However, in the one I am working on, I want the yoyo to stall into a double or nothing, and Iāve been having the hardest time getting that to happen. Now I canāt seem to do it either way anymore! The string comes off, and I land in a trapeze stall most of the time, just like you describe.
So frustrating! Now, Iām having to go back and practice the original to try to get back what I had.
The good thing is that I went back to unresponsive to practice the motion, and Iāve come up with a repeater. Hopefully, I can get these together in time.
Anyway, it can be done!

It is quite a knuckle buster, I had some success really focusing on making sure to minimize slack in the string when you do the hopā¦even then, I feel like itās very much just grinding a ton until the 'soft touch; required becomes muscle memory.
