Question… if I have a shiny surface yo-yo and the ano is pretty thick, is there a medium I could use in a tumbler to get the finish more like a blast or pyramatte?
I don’t think so, anything you could do would damage the ano. That’s why they tumble first.

So you could tumble it and get it anodized again any way you want! There are some incredible one off customs out there
