They’ve only released the xt that I know of. I’m kind of hoping they drop the butterfly versions soon though. At least they showed them in the catalog
So I did an “oops” this morning. Was trying to remove the image off some butterfly caps and didn’t have a magic eraser. Instead, I tried a tiny bit of acetone. It removed the image alright, but it also yellowed the cap a bit (a white cap) I was able to sand most of it out, but not the cleanest job…

I destroyed the bearing seat of my plastic cheatcode replacing the pads by trying to clean the glue residue with acetone. Its mad warped now

PSA there have been imperials stamped with the butterfly logo going around. I’ve noticed this in multiple ebay ads lately, usually in the “lot of 22” items. No one has been willing to find or sperate their lot to sell me the individual throw but maybe some of you are interested in hunting one of these down like me.

While just casually checking an auction site for these, I stumbled across this “Butterfly XT” with “ball bearing” that looks like just an XT package that someone stuffed a normal Butterfly in, haha!
Also listed as “New in package, but package has damage”

I snagged one of these cool aluminum butterflies. It only came with one butterfly sticker so I used this other sticker I had that was almost the perfect size for the other side.

Its a night and day difference from a standard plastic butterfly thats for sure. Its smooth as butter, I dug around in my rc box and found a rubber sealed bearing thats got whatever grease it came with inside it, its quite snappy now!

You gon have to acetone bathe multiple times or scrub the bearing out with a tooth brush

Can someone let me know more about this butterfly? I know it’s an older one, but that’s about it haha. I am no fixie expert but I do love playing this lil thing.

My Butterfly AL also came with a solid instead of transparent sticker. Oh what I’d give for a pair of transparent stickers on the delrin caps. Love that throw though!
