The most difficult part is getting the axle out of the single half. I have a nice little bench vise (under 20 from Harbor freight) that I use to grab the axle and then pull the half up from there.
The 90’s butterflies are much more difficult, they have a little knurling on them that really bites hard
Just bike road to two targets in my area and neither of them had them out yet. I kind of remember East Coast getting them first though so maybe that’s the case.
gonna be checking that red bullseye store this week, they have some different color variants on the caps compared to the first batch that got released a couple years ago…
Breaking this one in. It’s a mean one, I might have to hit it with some denim. I need to order some more glows this week. My friends kids love the glows and I love giving them away.
dunno how long they’ll last but my target is stocked up if someone is burning for a color they can’t find locally, hmu and I’ll try to snag what you want. they also stocked up on the basic color imperials
Is alphaline good on Butterflies? Every bulk poly I’ve tried seems fine so far. There’s one color swap butterfly I did last year that’s slippy, so I might need to try something thicker.
Yes I like alphalines on the butterflies. Response slip is likely related to string torsion. I’d maybe try cranking the twist and playing with it over twisted for a bit to lock it in. String thickness can affect response but what it will really affect is the straightness of the throw (whether it kicks back or forward).
