Another one bites the dust 
To my fellow dog walkers (and other tricks involving surfaces) do you get this axle crack after doing it a lot? I feel like Iāve only experienced this on ones I use to engage with my environment.

Iāve glued together Butterflies that looked much worse 
I usually loose Butterflies to some kind of ground contact; itās often unintentional for me.
If you decide not to try to repair Iād hold onto the axle and good half for half swap when the next one bites the dust.

The axles are also great if you have something like an old legend wing that you can cut in half and drill out.
I do miss the older, concave butterfly axles. Itās the only thing I wish they wouldāve kept from the older models. The newer flat axles work great too, especially in the new mould, but I feel like the concave worked better for mods.

some of the butterflies from the 2014 to 2017 range are really brittleā¦ iāve opened new packs with multiple butterflies in them already cracked in the package. canāt say iāve seen this happen after multiple walk the dogs on more recent versionsā¦ but they do crack if they hit something hard generally.

Iām curious to see if swapping the axle for brass would change the feel. Particularly as it starts to get oils on it and oxidize over the months.

looks like the couple i nabbed are gonna be it for this area. if anyone can still lay their hands on red or blue sparkleflies and are willing to grab one for me ill buy em back and pay to ship

is there? i thought it might just be a big up front unload. i have 3 targets by me Iāve been keeping an eye on and one had them but sold out and hasnt gotten more, the other two havent gotten any at all so i threw in the towel lol
I was able to get them throughout and after the holiday season last year.

They will restock throughout the Holidays. It. On average is a once a week delivery to the store with 1 to 3 restockings throughout the week.
The yoyos are not ordered individually, but come on a crate of āHollidayā section.
The employees dont know what is in the boxes. They just take the cart to the front of the store and place what is in the boxes into the bins.
