If I recall about 30 M1s were used and most were unplayable he was inspired by a Sony add with bouncy balls.
Its a beautiful video.
I am glad that this video still gets attention.
The video was driven by one concept, to give life to a yoyo in an unexpected way. The way that each of us interface with the yoyo is through the string. I removed that element. The yoyos seemed to take on a life of their own, developing a personality through movement.
My favorite shot is at 2:20, look at the red and orange M1.
My friend Pancakes and I spent two days working on the video, and I’m glad you like it.

Oh wow…im so glad they were unplayable…otherwise i might cry…alot…i was gonna buy an m1…but there discontinued now
