It’s awesome that this one advertises being convertible to a narrow bearing as I was thinking to myself that it was the perfect candidate. And the price is very attractive too.

I was like “oh man, this would be perfect for those spinning plates!” I scroll down and they are in the image

Def be putting this one on the B-Day list!

Fun yoyo - but you’re also gonna need a smaller axle too for the slim to work. I couldn’t find any in stock at time of purchase earlier this summer so I ended up buying a Shooting Star (wanted one anyway) to pull it’s slim and smaller axle from.

Some of the whacky stuff you can do with it (before sending a bunch of lego bricks across the room  )

the lego hubstacks work surprisingly well and easy to grab than I thought haha

I wonder if somebody could extend one side and balance it like a top? LOL

Hope you’ll give your impressions after putting the narrow bearing in. It looks like it has tremendous potential.

Very good modern responsive - I like running mine with the 2x2 turntable bricks so I can do pull starts. Does play slightly heavier once you add stuff to the hub but not bad.

Does this mean that legos are a form of side effects now? Hehe

This makes me wonder if the spinning plates can generate enough rpm to fully function as hubstacks! Given how good lego engineering is i wouldn’t doubt if they functioned decently but i still don’t know for sure

I hope to find out!

I know you have a Deeper State, not sure if you have the Deep State but how would you compare or contrast with the Deeper State? Or Deep if you have it. It looks so similar to the Deep State.

Deeper State is a bit bigger but because it’s a bit bigger, stalls lock in a bit tighter. Also I find that shooting the moon with the deeper state handles a bit better. I enjoy them both. Esp since my og Deep State is set up with spikes, it is a pull start machine.

Sorry. I meant how would you compare the Block to the 2 States.

Both are pretty comparable. The block is a pinch heavier esp when you add bricks onto it. Only caveat is that you’re gonna need a slim bearing and shorter axle (not included) to make this work. Stock, the gap is going to be too wide for modern responsive (slightly wider than the Deep/er States).

I ended up buying 2 - one to keep a slim unresponsive and the other outfitted with slim bearing. I also wanted to half swap mine

Hope this helps!

Considering how Lego plastic can wear down pretty quick with friction, I’m sure the plastic will wear so much faster at higher RPMs…not to mention, too much friction to begin with. For responsive pull starts, they’re perfect.

Awesome. I wasn’t even really caring about the Lego capabilities, I just thought it looked like it would be quite the player with the narrow bearing. I have a plethora of axles and narrow bearings just waiting. I really like the profile of it and I feel like may just have to give this one a try. I appreciate that it can be converted with no physical alterations needed. Just slap in a smaller axle and a narrow bearing and off you go. Sheesh… I’m talking myself into it…
