Best $35 price range yoyo?

Hi everyone, I’m looking to make a recommendation for a friend, and I want to make sure they have the best yoyo that can be found in their price range. They told me around $35 was their range, and my first thought was the yyr Diffusion, as I own one and am pretty happy with it. Are their any budget metals in that range on YYE? By the way, don’t worry about starting them off responsive, I’ve already spent time teaching them tricks on my own yoyos, and they’re simply looking to get one of their own. So, in your opinion, what is the single best yoyo in that price range, that a beginner would have an easy time with. (My concern with the Diffusion was that while it performs well it can be unforgiving to mistakes)
Thanks in advance!

For $44 he could get a YYF Shutter - Extreme bang for the buck! ;D

There are quite a few magic yoyos that fit into what you may be looking for. And most if not all of them are actually quite top notch in terms of play.

I have a Shutter and agree that it’s great but unfortunately it’s not within the price range. I just don’t think they’re ready for a $45 commitment just yet.

Diffison 2 … I think I spelled that right lol

I’m not familiar with any of their yoyos, could you perhaps name a specific yoyo they make that fits the description so i can find a review of it?

Yoyo officer IMP. 35 dollars and I play it more that my shutter.

My bad it’s 36.99, but definitely worth it.

A Magic YoYo N12 can be purchased for as little as $11, and remains one of if not the best value in yoyoing, in my humble opinion. If it needs to come from YYE, something from YoYofficer would probably make the most sense. The Kilter 2, for instance, is a great no frills budget metal.

Kilter 2

kilter or colossus

For $5 more (worth it) I recommend the Yoyofficer Quash. It’s a lot of fun to play.

As already mentioned, the Yoyofficer Kilter 2 is the best yoyo in that price range.

And also (as already mentioneed) for $5 more you can get a Yoyofficer Quash which I consider one of my best yoyos.

Spend ten dollars less and get a Duncan Echo 2 + string.

MagicYoyo m002 April, unbeatable performance for the price.

Save up 10 more and get a too hot.

Your original post said they were looking to stay around $35. $9 difference is pretty close to what you said they were trying to stay around. If 9 dollars kills the deal for them, you should probably stick with plastic like a $15 dollar replay until they are ready to save for a decent metal.

Too Hot is the best at $45.

But really, if it’s their first throw, they should get replay pros, then split the cost of some Buddha Poly.
The Pro is a great throw and they would have plenty of string, and it won’t be long till they want to sink some cash into metal.

But since they are starting, it won’t feel as bad when they ding their plastic throw.
Which is going to happen when you’re starting out.
