TECH TIPS

Oooh schooled again. This isn’t the first time today. ::slight_smile:

Buy a konkave bearing. It plays wonderfully in my DM2.

Get a twisted trifecta it has ten balls, concave and groove also worth the price.

There is terra pin dry play lube. Its this amazing stuff thats a micron mixture that kills the noise and make the bearing spin faster and longer. But you need to get acetone for it. Forgive me if i’m wrong but I think its to clean the bearing so it would be exceptionally clean before application.

DryPlay is nifty stuff, but I wouldn’t say it kills the noise. It changes the noise, that’s for certain. Gives the bearing a distinctive “hiss”.

True. Dry Play doesn’t kill the noise. In some cases it can add some noise. I’d say it doesn’t make a bearing louder than anything else out there though.

I’ll trade-off noise for performance. I’ll take the noise if I’m getting performance. I don’t yoyo in a library! However, Dry Play in a Trifecta in my Burnsides is practically silent.
