I feel at this point when people collect A-RT’s and CLYW’s and G2’s we’re not talking about toys but collectibles. I agree the original seller is at fault but everyone whether they like it or not takes partial responsibilities. Just my two cents
At this point the only reeeal option is to DESTROY the yoyo to ensure this NEVER happens again!
I think any time you sell something you’re taking responsibility for it.
No thats not my logic, my logic is that I took the traders information about a yoyo at face value, turns out the information was incorrect, so then I decided to reach out to make things right as the information was incorrect, while yes the true OG Seller is to blame from the start, its also the seconds persons fault who I made a deal with to know what he was trading and since he didn’t know, I brought it to his attention, because why is it my fault for his first mistake in the first place? We obviously on this forum go off of trust when making trades and selling, which comes with taking responsibility.
As I mentioned earlier which apparently doesn’t matter anymore right? About being able to verify information? So now we are focusing on “face value”? As for your example of AL6 and AL7, sure if that’s what you decide to do that then thats your decision, I would have at least let the person know that they made a mistake so that they know theres a difference, you relisted them so it looks like it didnt matter that much, in this situation im not trying to relist what I got, Im collecting it, im not trying to get rid of it, so yea it does matter, another thing is, both yoyos arent easy to come across it’s not like I can just find another one, as you know there are G2s that people keep and are hard to come by.
If we are now going based off of it being just a toy by your own logic then shouldn’t it be easy to return the said toy back? If its really just a toy why is it so hard to fix a mistake if its just a toy?
Brotha… ![]()

I’ve never found a toy I can return after 9 months of use, but whatever.
I can’t follow your logic at all. It’s not your fault you didn’t make sure you got what you bought was correct for 9 months. But it’s the guys fault for not knowing he was incorrect (on accident going by what he was told and believed to be true). If he had no reason to believe it was not what he paid for, then why would he have ever checked? And I stick firm to them being toys. I have more expensive yoyos, knives, pens, instruments, etc and they get used since that’s what they are for. I also never planned on relisting the yoyos that were incorrect, but life happens. If you are this frustrated over a yoyo what happens when you get a ticket you don’t agree with?
Hell, a family member sold a saxophone of mine and yeah, I was ticked. But guess what. The person they sold it to didn’t give it back. I had to deal with it. Life isn’t always fair. Move on. Deal with it. Blasting a guy because you both made a mistake is nuts.
Bro if it’s just a toy why are you so invested in this
I took the bait I’m sorry
Just cuz we don’t agree on things doesn’t mean we gotta clown on others. It is quite reasonable one way or another how both you and how One4All handled this same situation. Different roads walked. Neither is wrong, but neither is correct.
I’m having a great time.
So I’m a clown for not agreeing? Ok, I’ll stop. Y’all win.
I do not think youre a clown or particularily wrong for having views; we all have them. But I do not wish to see us drumming up further drama than what yhe topic already is about
Not bait. I just don’t get it. And yeah, my family member sold my personal saxophone because a student needed it… That’s been 18 years ago though. Finally got a new one.
I don’t think this should escalate further lmao. The two involved in the trade/transaction both had faults in the matter, it’s between them & arguing about a difference of opinion on a yo-yo forum about what’s morally/ethically correct isn’t going to fix the issue. I think we all agree that they both had a hand in the matter AND that everyone should sell me their Code 2’s. ![]()
Getting a bit outta hand at this point lol, the point of feedback is specifically to post both good & bad experiences with trading… if OP doesn’t get just compensation, then at least forum users in the future can read this and make their own decision on who to trade with.
Obviously would be nice if we could hear bkemp’s side because there are always 2 sides to a story, but staying quiet doesn’t seem to be helping in this instance.
Sorry I escalated things. I’ll go back to work and stop antagonizing everyone. Hope you all have a good week and maybe OP and bkemp and figure something out where they are both happy.
Cheers
PS. If I had code 2’s I would totally reach out.
PPS. I did not realize this was in trader’s feedback and thought it was in general.
I apologize again. OP had every right to make this post and I should have left it alone. Sorry @One4All
Exactly. Even if they came on and said ‘I don’t think I did anything wrong’ I would find that more understandable than their current prolonged silence.
I’d like to add in that I’m waiting to hear back from this seller on a small issue I’ve had. I purchased a canvas which they described as not having a lot of damage and shared a video. Once it arrived, there’s a lot of small marks that weren’t visible in the video, not to mention a minor vibe that wasn’t mentioned at all.
Maybe it’s kind of on me too: I could have asked for better photos, and enquired about the vibe. Either way, I feel a little let down, and I’m even more disappointed to see this situation, and how some people are responding to it.
@One4All has unfortunately fallen victim to an error here, as has @bkemp37 . The trade should be reversed, and it’s then down to him to challenge the original seller, should he see fit.
I’m not too bothered about the canvas, since at least I got the right yoyo. @bkemp37 I’ll consider us good if you can make things right with @One4All
Totally agree.
This is going nowhere.
