So I used to own an Atlas yoyo. When I got it it still had the price tag of $80. I recently was starting to get back into yoyoing and saw the new price of around $50. I was wondering if it still came with the counterweight seeing as in the photos and the videos it said that it came with it, but it said “throwback counterweights optional.” I don’t know if this means I have to get a seperate counter weight or I can add an extra counterweight. Does the Atlas yoyo still come with an ultraweight in 2021?
Yes that optional counter-weight is the ultraweight. I do not believe it comes with the counter-weight that’s why they give you the optional to add one.
Ok. It doesn’t make sense that they would lower the price then when you also get the counterweight it almost goes back to the original price of $80. I’m still not sure seeing as you believe it is not included anymore and don’t know for sure plus their videos still say it’s included.
Ok nevermind I found my answer. I read an article stating that because of the new price the yoyo will not have the ultraweight included so I would still have to pay around the same price it used to be if I got the counterweight.
