Are these the same yoyos?

So I was browsing my instagram the other day and I saw something that puzzled me.

We are talking about this… The Anole by YoyoEmpire

At first glance I was like: “oh yes, that’s a Zeekio Prism…”
But when I looked at the tags I was quite surprised. What’s even worse is that the specs are EXACTLY the same.

So did YoyoEmpire buy the rights to the Zeekio Prism or is this the most perfect bootleg version of any yoyo ever?

I hope someone can enlighten me on this subject because it’s doing my brain in.

Yoyoempire and Zeekio have several yoyos that are the same. They aren’t bootlegs, they are just purchased from the same manufacturer and branded differently for each company.

I thought they all manufactured their own throws. OK, fair game then. As long as they don’t have different price tags.
