I think it is 07’ or 09’ considering material(6061) but I’m not sure about it. Anyone can verify this throw?
You can see “Yuuki Spencer” signiture on the cup, So…Is there any possibility that mine is a unique 07’ 888?
Thanks in advance

It has closed off hubstack posts so it’s an 09
I see. All the 07’ have non- closed off hubstack posts right?
Yep that’s the main difference
Thanks!
@pyrotechnic might have more info on this run. I believe he owns the 888 that yuuki used in this picture.
2011 “Classic” 888 they all had the close of hubstack post
So…you are saying it is a 11’ not a 09’?
Do you have a reference that I can trust? Thank you for helping me
2009 Classic 888 I think. This doesn’t have the response area bump the 2011 run has.
edit: found it
https://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/sgnakano/diary/?PageId=2&ctgy=8
it’s 2009, sold at japan nationals
That link doesn’t load right
It’s definitely a 888 classic based on engraving and the closed of stacks which was released in 2011 so I’m interested what the image shows in the link
That’s yuukis original 07 he won world’s with
The other is a remake of that 888
In yuukis photo the stacks are hollow
Both of those photos were posted in 2009, advertising John Ando and Yuuki who were going to be at Japan Nats.
I have no knowledge of any of this, I just shared that since you said the link didn’t work.
At one time I had 30 or so different 888s from 07’-09’ including a red 07’. I’ve never seen that 888 nor did I know it existed. Really nice find.
@tigerbeatt i think you have a pretty collectible yoyo.
Thank you all!!! Now I know about my 888:pray:
