Oh by the way full disclaimer, I just saw those photos on FB not mine or anything.

At the moment I am using a bouncy ball as I learn 5a basics so I can’t relate to the whacking just yet

Strategy tip… if you want to protect your yoyo don’t 5A with it.

I hear ya. For the moment I am applying a different strategy: a rubber ball counterweight.
