Isopropyl will clean it off if you’d prefer it like that.
Though I do not regret about getting autograph of Takeshi’s on Alnilam, but I guess getting autograph with thinner pen would be even more satisfying to see so that is why I regret to get with a thick pen
need a Kleenex?
be happy… You got Takesh’s’ autograph. you know it’s his autograph…and he knows it’s his autograph.
let me give you a life lesson>
Don’t waste time regretting things that are of little consequence.
There are plenty of things in life to spend time regretting.
Losing a good friend over a stupid argument.
Having smarts but thinking you were too intelligent to get a better education(thinking as you are peeling potatoes at the Fast Food Shack).
Dumping your long time girlfriend, because your best friend told you she just wasn’t pretty enough. And then he marries her and is sooo happy, when he is smiling you can see all his teeth even when he is facing away from you.
Telling all your co-workers that you don’t want to contribute 1 dollar to the office lottery fund because you said gambling is for idiots… And the next day, they win and are all Instant Millionaires and you end up in the Returns Department at Walmart.
Deciding to buy a yoyo at Yoyoexpert, 5 minutes after their 20 percent sale ended.
Showing all your buddies how well you can Tokyo Slide in your New Ferrari and you slam into the side of a Brand New Police car.
Those are somewhat regrettable things.
Getting an Autograph from one of the very best players in the World History of Yoyo, that was done in thick sharpie, is ‘nothing’ on any scale of regrettable things.
It would be more regrettable to wonder why you spent about $500 on a yoyo, lol.
PS…for most people, writing in the cup of a yoyo is a challenge as it is… It’s certainly possible that had he been using a thin Sharpie, it would still look kinda sloppy… just thinner.
Save regrets for things that actually matter.
no offense, but i never understood autographing yoyos - for the reason mo mentioned - the surface area is not conducive to an autograph. i was at fl states and gentry and betty had stacks of fliers around. i understand this isn’t going to work for everyone, that’s big budget stuff
but, you could come prepared too, the box, sack, or a notebook. i’ve had to sign some weird things in my ‘art’ life (cue balls), but, i was always grateful for the opportunity… and grateful when i got autographs (on baseballs, for one). i knew a guy that got an autograph from dimebag darryl from pantera (i’m old), and immediately went to a tattoo shop to get it tattooed on him.
no regerts (sp?) my man. you got something not a lot of people have. ultimately, they don’t increase a yoyo’s value from what i’ve seen, but it’s a cool convo piece. be grateful, i try to be.
