Alchemik Yoyos - The Roentgen - release May 4 @ 11:59 M.S.T

Hey everyone,

Jeremiah here from Alchemik Yoyos! We’re proud to announce our second official release, dropping this Sunday, May 4 at 11:59 PM MST - The Roentgen (pronounced “Rent-gen”)

The Roentgen is the signature model of Tyler Jorgensen! Tyler runs the Tri-Cities yoyo club in Eastern Washington, and in his own words, “The inspiration for the Roentgen comes from a love of competitive style yo-yos that keep that fun-loving spirit. We wanted to make something that was powerful, agile, and durable. It has a great width for practicing those more difficult tricks, and with enough spin time to keep up!”

The Roentgen uses titanium weight rings on a 7068 body, which adds a really special feel compared to many bimetals. I personally have loved testing it as a team member and can’t wait for everyone else to get to experience it too!

Specs:

  • Diameter: 54.96mm
  • Width: 48.01mm
  • Weight: 66.08g
  • Gap width: 4.61mm
  • Axle: M4×10mm
  • Response: 19mm pads
  • Material: 7068 AL + Ti weight rings

The Roentgen is priced at $150 and will come in 4 colorways. We also have a handful of B-grades that will be available for $100. It drops May 4th at 11:59 MST on the Alchemik Yoyos official website.

Hey everyone! Tonight’s the big night! To help you pick out which awesome color you’re going to be throwing, here’s a little more info about the colorways you’ll have to choose from:

Tradition (green/yellow fade)

In addition to yoyoing, Tyler loves playing golf, in which the colors of green and yellow represent excellence and the highest skill. This green/yellow fade is a tribute to that tradition.

Criticality (black/yellow splash)

As his job, Tyler works in the nuclear field, where yellow and magenta are used in radiological postings to warn of dangerous areas. We promise this yoyo is (mostly) free of dangerous radiation though - it just makes your tricks more fun.

Neutron Capture (Silver w/ yellow and blue splash)

Tyler is also an avid dirt-bike rider. He rides a Husqvarna TE300 and this colorway matches his bike.

Last, but not least…
GEM (Galaxy fade)

Tyler said that he didn’t have a special story behind this one - he just liked the way it looked, which I certainly can’t disagree with!

In addition to these colors as A-grades releasing tonight, we also have a few B-grades dropping as well. These will be priced at $100 and may have minor ano flaws or vibe, but are still totally playable.
