One final spot open.
This list is made. The first to receive the package is @kaozmachine
When the package is received you have a week to play around with it, until you have to find the details from the next user in the list to send it to. Please do not share these addresses with me or others and keep the previous return labels obsfuscated/off once it has arrived.
I will try to get this package out as soon as I am able to, thank you everyone who joined!!
So very cool and kind! Iโm also in love with the art and will let you know what I think. Iโm excited to try it, and wow! what a colorway!
I thought of a little thing I want to add, and am also looking forward to see what people think of it.
Thank you so much!
Tomorrow you send it to the next person on the list
I sent it yesterday actually!
I had others to go out as well, so it just worked better for me.
I really did love it! I plan to write up my thoughts soon.
Thanks again! I love trying new throws, tons of fun.
The Baryon. Aptly named. The dense part of an atom are the baryons in the center.
Call me an electron, because I found myself drawn to itโฆ Amazing ano work and a super comfortable size and shape. Yoyofriends makes some really cool, very pretty yoyos. 65g doesnโt sound heavy, but wait until you try it, it has a very satisfying density to it, and it spins for a long time, up there with some of my competition bimetals. This is actually the first bimetal inner-rim that Iโve used, and Iโm completely sold on them!
It inspired me to work on some chopsticks and attempt some tech, if you like those elements, youโre going to love the baryon.
Only downside is that it eats stringโฆ good thing @The_Abyss included a metric crap-ton of string for us, so it shouldnโt be a real problem. If youโre wondering what the orange and blue nylon string is, I thought it fit and felt so good that I left it on the baryon for the next person (or two?) to try. Itโs a Pea Soup Silky Nylon. I also added the 7yo t2 slimline yoyo because I was amazed how fun it was for 8$ and thought others might like it as well. The 3d printed rims can be pulled right off, and that one has a thin Big Red nylon string, which Iโm a huge fan of.
Thanks again to @The_Abyss for setting this up! It was a lot of fun!
I absolutely fell in love with inner rim bimetals. No longer will I have to worry about the offchance it could dislodge. The Baryon is also very hard to dent. It gets to benefit a lot from many things, all in one neat package!! Can you believe this retailed for $68.99?
wow 69? thats incredible. definitely a gift to the players.
Picked it up at the post office today! Wont have time to play it till tomorrow and will give my first thoughts then!
My first impressions of this are great! Its absolutely gorgeous for one. Its a super comfortable and chill size and spins for days!
Never been the biggest on inner rim bimetals, the only one Iโve really liked is the w!ld unbound, and I think this might get put on that list too! Ive usually found inner rim bimetals to just feel like a monometal thats more sluggish, but I think the size of the baryon makes it feel less like a rock on a string.
Gonna keep playing over the week, and ill probably update with some more thoughts as i get more time with it!
Package en route to @rockstar
Thank you @The_Abyss for setting this up! Such a good throw!
What were your thoughts? I would love to know!!
