So I only had two simple questions, since I’ll be getting Dogma soon,
What bearing and string would you recommend for the Dogma?
If you could, be specific pls.

If you haven’t got it yet, what makes you think you need to change out the bearing??? ???

Leave the bearing, honestly pretty much any modern yoyo bearing will probably play well.
Get polyester string, or nylon, I like kitty fat. (It’s not crazy fat)
Generally though with what people are making today, it’s hard to find string, bearings, or yoyos that won’t play well that are sold at an online yoyo store like yoyoexpert.
Poly type 6 is the basic for what you’ll be using the dogma for, especially if you are starting out. Get some thin lube rather than a bearing!
Edit: okay some bearings like the ones that come in magic yoyo’s are garbage. But the dogma bearing is good, and the others you can buy at yye are good as well.
Any specific bearings? I want to get the best possible throws out of this Dogma, since it’ll be the last yoyo I get for a while. And I’m not exactly starting out, I’ve been practicing for a long while, approaching a year soon, and I know all the binds, I got a Terrarian, and I’m just getting into full body play.
Dogma might end up being my favorite, and when you have a favorite, you wanna take care of it to the best extent right? Make it as good as possible?
I just figured there’d be a bearing out there that somebody might prefer to the usual Center Trak, like how Gentry prefers his Shutter with a KonKave bearing

I do like regular konkaves more than centertracs, I also really like flat 1drop 10-balls.
I just got the galaxy dogma, and to be honest it’s really good stock and I don’t seem to think anything could really be improved that much! nothing I’d want to spend money on at least. I put a tiny drop of thin lube in the bearing and it played a lot better than it did out of the box. I could see putting in a kk or a grooved kk could making it the tiniest bit better.
Genuine Dif-e-yo KKs make everything better
The stock bearing in the Dogma will work just fine, but if you really want to buy a new bearing there’s nothing wrong with that. Yoyorecreation Platinum Plated DS Bearing is my favorite, followed closely by Difeyo Konkave and CTX. Can’t go wrong with any of those.
For string I go for Kitty Nylon 1.5, String Lab Venom, or YYE Core string. There’s so many choices with string now that it’s really more of a personal preference though. Anyone’s opinion on string may be the complete opposite of yours.

Without a doubt…I feel the best bearings available today are the Yoyorecreation Platinum Plated DS Bearing. Other than that…i’d go with a KK.
