5A beginner here. I tried it a few times but it didn’t catch me… I just learned windmill, 360, and gave up on stall. While trying again for this event, I noticed that my middle finger was not going to the TH side of the string like in the tutorial, once I fixed that, it was way easier for me. I got motivated and managed to film ladder, freeform, and TaW while having a lot of fun learning 5A.
I played some Kendama before and learned some string tricks there. I feel like the concept is similar and I could use some of that muscle memory.

It’s tough. I have a lot of trouble catching the CW. No one ever picked me first for sports. 
I recommend checking on Connors newest video - from like 25th second he explains windmill and how to catch the CW

I had asked him to make that before realizing that was very close to week 1 of josh stuff. I wasn’t paying near enough attention ti what others where doing but hey more tutorials in the world doesnt hurt

Unfortunately of all the styles I like 5A the least, every trick is like Harvester of sorrow for me, but still I need to provide attention…and justice for all styles, so I grabbed my Blackened Freehand and tried to do Trick ladder and Trick a week (not in a row)…
