Washed-out, maybe. They did call it ‘Pale’.
Now, whether they intended the result to be pale/unsaturated, who knows. Doesn’t really matter. They’ll sell out regardless hahaha.

There were non-“pale” Mixed Berry Drizzle Kamuraijus. None of the photos are pure black based.

It has to be said that, given their name, that particular coloring is the most appropriate choice; however, from an aesthetic standpoint, it strikes me as a bit “dull”…
The red/purple gradient is very pretty; it’s the other color—which I can’t quite define—that doesn’t really convince me.
Already a bit better… 
Interesting that Pale Mixed Berry Drizzle is close to a blend of these two (Mixed Berry Drizzle & Firebird):

True, the light blue is missing, and there’s that color… faded caramel? I don’t know how to describe it.
