Got lucky with a random refresh for me.
I didn’t get the email until about 7 minutes from when the countdown started but sitting here watching random youtube videos worked out. 
Got one finally after trying three times in a row. Now no more worrying and waiting.

Well I was able to purchase, but not without a little bit of drama. The page said that I had missed out again. Yet I preserved barely to reload and try again. Once the new page came up I went through checkout as normal and it gave me the mystery box with email notification. I’m glad I didn’t give up. If you see that they are out of stock during checkout, try again. It worked for me. Just a tidbit of advice.
Got the email at 7:50 PST and immediately clicked on the link. There was only 40 left by that point. But I got my grubby little hands on one. ;D

I got a little nervous that time because when I checked out the address changed to checkout error and I was about to reload when the address changed again and was a receipt. I was pretty excited that I finally got one but not without fair amount of drama.
