Yeah I have a feeling the rest of the factory team is being lazy while the boss is away. Could be wrong but I tried chatting them a few times for an issue and crickets. Ohh well hopefully when Ben’s back it’ll all get back on track…
To be fair if I worked at a yoyo factory I too would goof off while the boss was gone. I would have a bunch of cool yo-yos all around me all the time lol
Yea I unfortunately feel like I got radio silence as well, tried chat and message. First time ordering direct and I think I’d rather just stick with what I know. YYE has never failed me
Don’t want to sound like that entitled person but frustrating knowing money was spent, and I’m in limbo while those funds have left my account day of purchase.
I was in there shooting the breeze with Keith and Chris yesterday and they seemed pretty swamped with online orders. I totally distracted them from shipping for a good hour
First time I’ve had an issue buying direct but I’ll be interested to see what the stream tells us. The guy who breaks a b grade on camera and tells you not to buy it isn’t exactly holding much back usually lol.
I agree I get better customer service from yye overall but yyf is better at communication than Duncan who rarely gets back to me on an inquiry.
Seems Ben got back and started getting his folks back on task and communication going again. He responded to my questions promptly on his return so if he hasn’t yet for you bump your email and I bet he will get to you and I assume orders will start bumping out quickly.
Update - they arrived today after leaving AZ yesterday - While I love them both, I’m totally digging the Turbo Grind Machine - something nostalgic about those cork pads. Nice and snappy response.
So quick update the issues i had with my order got resolved and then some. Always reminds me these guys are just folks with some yoyos enjoying their life and bringing some joy to others in the process.
Also Wednesday is gonna do some damage to my wallet after watching the stream today…
