Most days I talk more with the birds than the people in my neighbourhood. When I was more serious about practicing flute there was a magpie that would regularly sit by the window and play call and respond

That’s just about the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.

We have a family of magpies that visits us regularly when we are in the backyard. They come running to us and just like to be there with us. Sometimes we feed them by hand.

Apparently when they bring thier kids, they have accepted you as their own.

These are great stories.
That lyrebird is so amazing. What’s most amazing is that you can stand right there and make a movie of it and it’s comfortable with you being there.

That’s amazing!

So there was a request for Higby hats again, and I found out I can now offer DTF printing on hats instead of embroidery!

This should improve the quality of the image BIG TIME. Of course, this means it’s no longer embroidered.

This reminded me of the little laser guns I had as a kid.

I am 100% Gen X, in thought and deed, but this is the funniest thread I have ever read in a forum. Got my first yoyo in 1976, have a ■■■■ ton of metals going back the last 20 years, buy my strings by the hundred because I have grown up money. 52 and still disappointing my wife with my yoyo’s which are all over the house.
I am all in.

Oh damn… we got onto birds?

I kinda do a bird thing when I am not doing a yoyo thing. Red-tailed hawk. Star. She is super cool.

Your birds would eat my bird easily… very cool birds though. My sun conure sherbert likes women more than men so I don’t get to bother him often but I did teach him the Andy Griffith theme which feels super boomer to me

These look like the ones that had the little spark wheel under the transparent plastic that threw sparks when you pulled the trigger.
