That looks like a superb layout for a glass for sure. I feel like you may have some competition though. That is a solid design for a glass for real though.

Also, I tried keeping the yo-yo simple, but I wanted it to resemble the Workhorse… it does an okay job at filling the Workhorse shaped hole in my heart.

I wasn’t super happy with the logo I made, so I changed the rhombus to a blue color…
An absolutely massive improvement.

What version of butterfly is it?
Okay so it’s just a draft.. so excuse the bad cursive, overall rough coloring and shading. Etc.
But I think some of little mushroom girl with, a Workhorse magically floating above her, would be nice. I’ll work on it a little more. Perhaps simplify the design I’m not sure. I just wanted to get opinions so I can see where I should improve.
For the commemorative glass. However for a glass I feel this may be a kinda crazy design.

it’s obvious it’s a butterfly now that you said it. Does the bigger brass axle change the play a whole lot?
Is that a pen blank tube?
That was my first thought too.
Brass tube is from the RC hobby store near my house. It’s for building steam engines, but I use it to make Pipa Belare when I can’t get ebony or rosewood.
The Butterfly did get a few turns to get the lines of the brush finish parallel, round off the sharp bits on the rims and make the dimples even, but not necessary for this mod.
Weight distribution is interesting, worth trying on a better yoyo since what the butterfly needs is more rim weight rather than less hub weight. Texture of the brass isn’t great but more friction on the string loop than steel.

Seeing some of the other submissions, and the kind of moon look, and space theme, in tandem with the Workhorse release this year, and all the chatter about yoyo shirts. I immediately thought of the ICONIC Three-Wolf-Moon design, but with howling Workhorses, lmao!
