I could get behind that too!!
Team station wagon
vacation - Chevy chase - the greatest boomer ever to exist
What I like about that hand drawing is that it reminds me of the drawings that came to life in the imagination of a few movie characters from the 80’s.
Something about the “bomb” in the logo is off putting to me, not sure if it’s all the chaos in the world right now, but something about using it doesn’t feel right to me. It may be cause a bomb is something that is intense and serious. I understand why it was thought of for the logo though. The station wagon is something laid back, easy going, kind of comical and fits with the “Boomer” title as well.
Just my 2 cents, wanted to throw it out there.
I can understand what you’re saying there. Things took a major turn in the world since the bomb was originally proposed. It would be in poor taste not to be sensitive toward that. Just 2 more cents.
I agree and wasn’t really a fan of that imagery. I like rhe station wagon better or the rocket ship.
I would agree - I think I prefer just the wagon.
Simple, elegant, reminds me of how old I am
If we went with the station wagon, a great name for the yo-yo would be the Way Back, or some other name that refers to the awesome, rear-facing seats in the back of classic wagons.
Now if we could only get a faux wood paneling colorway…
Brown with tan swirl, or straight streaks instead of swirl
I love it. That would be so cool.
That top one with the station wagon replacing the rocket is awesome!!!
edit: not sure how it would work though with the hub on the yoyo, would need to be modified to work with the hub.
The wood sounds so cool but also impossible to pull off.
I wonder if a brown anodize with white engraving would be something people would like?
I would like to be a true boomer. Can I be a part of this legendary troupe of boomers.
Welcome Vivek!
The station wagon in space is fire hahaha
Mr. Billipo,
What does the term “Yoyo Boomer” mean to you?
I posted this many moons ago.
Of course it could be as simple as anyone who wants to be a boomer.
I like both definitions you got there.
I kind of think we should try to steer clear of defining it too precisely. I feel like that’s where feelings start getting hurt. I don’t think there is any one thing that makes someone a boomer.
It’s just for fun, right?
