Yoyo artwork for wall

Hello!
I wanna draw a giant yoyo on my wall! I have no artistic talent or skills. Hopefully i’ll do a better job this time than last(pictured below).

Anyone have any ideas of drawings/artwork I could use? Going for something simpler this time.

Looks like you have plenty of artistic ability to me! It’s not perfect but, I think that first one came out looking really good. Just have confidence in yourself and draw it out in pencil first. I found this picture that’s definitely not anymore simple but maybe some inspiration… and then a minimalist drawing I just quickly did on Snapchat you could use if you want… hope this helps!

What? That’s a sick rendition! I love the monochrome on that green wall. Maybe work the string a little bit to make it feel like it’s in play.

Was this g-way inspired?

Wonderful piece.

This looks fantastic. Maybe you could add to what you have and continue a theme. But what you already have is very nice

Ah I should have mentioned! Its a fresh wall, I had the old one painted over so I could do a new one

Thanks everyone still welcoming any ideas or reference artwork. Last time I used this worlds poster.

I don’t know how you applied your image on the wall the first time, but for stuff like that, an old overhead projector is really handy. This way you can test different iterations of your design first before going in. In my opinion its always worth it to develop your image. Make many sketches with different styles and motives. Also watch the whole room and how it changes with the design on the wall, sometimes a simpler or smaller image may serve you better than a big complicated thing. Creating images is a process and that can take time. So be kind to yourself, your creativity and keep it in flow.

Good. I understand.
I am sorry, if got off like a douche. Creating imaging is my trade, so I get a little giddy when I see a project like yours.

That is beautiful but how would I even draw that! As I said! Very limited amount of skill😅

I was looking for something closer to the line drawings that are on luftverk boxes or something haha!

if doable this would be sick, the graphic itself not necessarily the yo. always liked that one

Yeah the mowl stuff I considered but it’s probably way out of my league:sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Also I dont know the implications of taking someone elses art and putting it on my wall without asking.

Im currently just looking at yoyos pics and trying to convert them to line drawings😬
