Yoyo Appraisal Thread

Would just like to note that when levi was accepting commission work the price started at $120 and went up from there and you supplied the peak so it wasn’t cheap at all. It also appears that levi doesn’t paint anymore since he never replied to my last email so they’ll only become harder to get.

The other nice thing about it is the seller can’t take your offer, and then shop around indefinitely for a better one, then come back when he fails. He either sells on the spot, or accepts a lower bid from me later if he still has it and I’m still interested. If they miss the window and come back later, they always take less.

id say 90-100

mint og PEAK it is white with the blue mountains on the rim

the mountains shouldn’t be on the rim

I mentioned the pricing of those a little while back

How about a Black Bip Bop pre-production Avalanche? The one without the ‘Ava grooves’.

Sadly, I no longer own this but I’m curious as to how mad I should be for selling it.

It’s the “China Peak”.

If really have a numbered OG I will give you top dollar!!!

Do you know if it is gone forever or if can be bought back? I really liked the story behind it!

Impossible to put a real value on imo. Despite my love of the Peak I still only try to pick up production colorways that I really enjoy. I would pay at most $100 for it just to have it but I honestly wouldn’t even want it. If I owned it and someone offered me $100 for it I would be quite insulted. If it was a Playmaxx product I would probably claw someone’s eyes out if that’s what it took to become the owner of it. At the current point in time, as a one-off piece of CLYW history and a Peak (sort of lol) I would have a very hard time valuing it at less than $500. If someone paid $1000 or more for it I would not be surprised.

Yea. Wouldn’t surprise me if it fetched over $500 but I (what me the collector grabber/buyer) wouldn’t even pay that for this one. It just doesn’t look very functional. I like rare but I like to experience their personalities as well.

What makes you say it is not functional? It’s a Peak, which in my opinion, play perfectly fine. Sure, not up to participate with today’s throws, but good nonetheless.

Well unless every pic I have seen is totally disfigured/stretched ( which could be very possible), it looks like its much wider than all others and has a much narrower gap. Like I said, I could be wrong but pics look nothing like a regular peak to me.

China peak was sold last month for $200 along with a gouda for a similar price to a certain collector that I know :stuck_out_tongue:

I do however think a price near $350 is more fair for it

a 3YO3 bassline that is powder coated in dino egg (i don’t know if this is original or something that was done but there are no imperfections post powder coat also suppose to be vibe free.

The specs are supposed to be exactly the same as other Peaks, it’s just the shape that’s off.

Near mint viszilla

these didn’t seem to hold their value well. I’d say around 100 depending on damage

You would be lucky to hit $85 for that. I would say anywhere between $65-$85. They don’t hold value well at all. I see then got for around what I said.
