2001 i think…i loved the bumblebee so i decided to take the plunge and buy an expensive yoyo after a big exam. First time i bought a yoyo off the internet. Was probably this site (apparently not this site, but it was my first non toysRus purchase). Honestly no recollection. But i remember driving 6 hours after my exam to pick it up from my parents house. I remember wearing out my first set of break pads like it was yesterday now that we discuss this. I still have the watch, pin and tin it came with. (Not as mint as your collection 
).

I’ve never seen an orange and black one, that’s pretty awesome. I don’t think this site existed back then though.
Also, love seeing the Henry’s, Team Losi and Custom yoyos. Those take me back to middle school.

Yeah that looks like one of the powder coated gt’s. Super rare throw I think last time someone sold one it went for around $800.

The YoYo cart I loved at the mall of America had an orange and black one. I tried to get my parents to buy it but I already had a Cold Fusion so that did not happen. I’ve never seen another one ever. Extremely special YoYo and so so beautiful. LE is for the limited edition and if I remember correctly that were asking $400-$500 back then. Crazy money

6 is a good number, especially if you plan your collection well. Hey, I went 50+ years with one yoyo, a Duncan Imperial. Actually, for about two months I added a Butterfly, way back when it first came out. Then I found this place. Everyone taking about all the yo-yos that they buy. Before you know it, just like them I am trying to buy one of each. Hell, some of these kids don’t stop there, they want one of each color. Do you know what this is doing to my retirement?!? Stop tempting me with all these unnecessary purchases you young whippersnappers. And one more thing, you damn kids, GET OFF OF MY LAWN!
