Try throwing it down.

Then attempt to do tricks.

If it works, then you know.

I’ve learned something from each and every yoyo I’ve ever tried. Certainly you could do tricks with it if you chose to practice and do so.

Every yo-yo anyone gets, has to be played to figure out if it can do tricks.

The cosmic spin (NED) isnt very good, they made a new one that is nicer but you should be able to do some stuff with it. It would be easier to start on like a freehand or flying squirrel.
