Clear as day? If it was so clear, then nobody would have had to reach out to OD and point out this painfully obvious demand to them.

A company’s ability, or in this case, inability to recognize demand for a product doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. They even thanked us for pointing it out to them and said they didn’t realize it.

FYI for anyone who didn’t get the color they want just YYE is getting most of this run so there will be another chance in the near future with more stock to secure the one you want.

Indeed, I was placing my faith in OD’s ability to be aware of demand and judge for itself whether or not it was sufficient to do runs of old models. My faith was misplaced, and so my assessment of the demand was as wrong as theirs was. But I still don’t think it was as obvious as you claim because OD isn’t that out of touch with the marketplace.

Part of the proof is in the near instant sellout of most colorways. That rarely happens with OD drops these days… most stuff just sits and sits on that store.

Oh, I agree that the demand existed. I only dispute how “obvious” it was. OD clearly lacks the crystal ball everyone else seems to have.
