Yes, there will be another Top Deck run from One Drop

Someone is selling a Top Deck on the FB BST, in case someone here really wants one now.

Do you think the Replay that Gentry used to win had an upgraded bearing in it?

No. The story goes that Gentry took a Replay Pro out of the package, put on a Kitty String, and then walked on stage – it was totally stock.

Well that’s pretty crazy … That man has huge talent!

The Replay Pro already comes with a center trac I think. Not many bearings that are really considered an upgrade from that.

That’s a great point; the only “upgrade” would be a Platinum DS or the like which doesn’t really eke out any more performance afaik.

I replaced my Shutters centre trac bearing with a DS and it performs better imo.

Came up with some totally new and completely original branding ideas for the new M1… feel free to use :+1::+1::+1:

Naming schemes deep down from Hell.

@da5id, hello.
Quick question, could we have this special drop via yoyoexpert? Would love to snag some strings with it, taking advantage of single shipping

I keep looking back here, waiting for the announcement that the Top Deck is in stock and ready for immediate purchase!

I think the time frame is measured in months, not weeks. There’s a chance they will be available for Christmas, but I wouldn’t put all my hopes on that.

They said 2 - 3 months, maybe quicker. That was about 6 weeks ago.

Yeah, 2-3 months from the point that they begin the production process. We don’t know when that was, but I’m guessing it wasn’t, like, the day after general assent to produce was expressed here. Maybe @da5id can give us an update.

I asked about an eta and they said 2 - 3 months. But yeah, it will get here when it gets here. I’m just happy for a new run!

2-3 months is 8-12 weeks, still 2 weeks out from an announcement at best =[

Before Christmas would be nice for sure!

I wouldn’t expect them to have preempted anything already on the schedule for production, as that can be both expensive and ill-advised if it jeopardizes commitments to retailers for whatever is currently in the pipeline, or headed into it very soon. That basically means that another run of Top Decks has to get in line and wait for its turn, and there’s just no telling how long that might take (unless OD tells us, of course).

But I’d love to hear that I’m wrong about that.
