Sorry to muddle up your thread, but I’m wondering what is a YWET. The only reason I ask is because I was looking at some yo-yos the other day and I came across this a dri YWET. I don’t know what YWET is

I took it down. It looked legit to me. I’m not sure what to scam site or what is not.
Heya mate, thanks for looking out for me! That one is a scam site alright but interestingly they’ve replicated a genuine Japanese site.. the one in that picture goes for a significant amount of $$ on bst and there are only 125 of them.
YWET is a model from a now defunct brand called anti-yo, YWET stands for yoyos will eat themselves. There was two versions of the yoyo, the first one was without side effects and in the end wasn’t released, they redesigned the yoyo as a side effects version and released a few variations of that, the production run (300 pieces) the copper one (125 pieces) and more rare is a nickel plated one (25 pieces) there’s also a preproduction BAC one (30 pieces) and I believe a hardcoat prototype (I think this was non side effects?)
The unreleased non side effets versions were given to friends of the brand and released some years later by Recess and Static Co. These are the ones I’m hunting down for my growing YWET collection… Recess and Sudo did powdercoated, anodised and some copper and nickel non side effects versions.

There are also a few raw ones from the original run, same as the hard coats, and the various Recess/Static Co versions
I forgot perhaps the rarest of them all, the 4mm version. I think 8 pieces?
I never really understood why they didn’t just release the original run with shims, it’s a shame. Glad they’ve finally seen the light of day, but would’ve been amazing at the time.

Thank you for the response and description. I did notice that they have rubber o-rings maybe not all of them but is this a normal thing where you can like put a smaller o-ring or a bigger one?
Also, good luck with what you’re looking for sorry to muddle up your thread. I saw that site and I’m like oh look that looks pretty good not realizing that it was a scam site. I’ve actually almost ordered a couple yo-yos off of that site, but now that I do look at it, it is a rip-off of another site. The deals look really good though
