Why do yoyo companys die?

Ik a lot of companies die for personal reasons but there are others and why?

There’s an endless amount of reasons any company could die. It’d be hard to try and establish an over arching reason that yoyo companies don’t make it.

I’d say market saturation and low ROI is a killer though for yoyo companies.

Mainly waning interest… you go into yoyo production knowing you’re not going to make a ton of money. It’s fun and I think I speak for many small manufacturers in saying the best part is seeing other people having fun playing with yoyos you designed.

Since it’s not a big money maker the incentive to channel a lot of effort into a small company is low, especially when you have a lot going on. Since starting freshman year of college I’ve posted on the OST Instagram and Facebook only a handful of times but still enjoy being a part of the yoyo community. It’s nice having the luxury of doing as you please on the timeline you won’t since it’s not a livelihood.
