Haha yeah they were dangerous but incredibly fun to throw around. I saw a photo back in the day of a guy that gashed his eyebrow open with one. 
Probably the only yoyo that wouldn’t sustain major damages from that great of a fall would be some titanium yoyo.
If I want a certain yo-yo to rain all over the world for 24 hours, I would want that yo-yo to be the Bandai Hyper Dragon. ;D
