So, tonight I was going out for a walk and it was getting dark and I wanted to bring a yoyo with me that I had no fear of damaging so I brought this. I forgot how much I loved it. Spins forever and in my opinion is weighted so perfectly and feels so comfortable. What’s your cheapest unresponsive that you really love but don’t really brag about on the Forums? I got this a few years ago for about $8.
I picked up a couple of MYY Avocados for $10. Hands down my cheapest yoyo i totally love. Its regularly my commuter throw.
I second that.
Replay Pro
MYY node.
Very underrated
$5 Fool’s Gold Yetis are hard to beat. $10 for 3A set.
i’d say, time and time again, mid 90s glow in the dark duncan imperial… you can snatch one up on the bay for about $6 - $7, good density, fun to learn on and keep in your pocket, resilient, cool looking, they glow… nostalgic…
avocado is pretty rad
Unresponsive please luv
Total good time though
anytime baby anytime
ez question.
Those would be my yoyofficer kilter 3 and my yoyoempire touchmore. Solid practice yoyos and dirt cheap ($30 for kilter, $25 or less for touchmore depending on where you buy it).
I’ll second the FG Yeti 2.
Clearly no one here has heard the tale of Darth Metal Racer the wise. It’s an old sith legend, something pros never talk about.
I can’t think of many that I have cheaper than Shutter. However the Replay Pro would be.
But truly love to play would be Shutter and Dark Magic 2. I think both around the same price. You can get a b grade Shutter or as Gentry sells them, a Sutter Trainer, for $20 or $25. If I were on a budget that would be it all day.
My No.1 is the YoYoEmpire Boreas Pro2 about 25$. Hybrid, cut Pom, performs like an iYoYo iceberg but I prefer it since it has its metal rims on the inside.
Very nice Fingerspiel cup.
You know, I completely forgot about the shutter for a second, but your completely right. Especially with the trainer and the b-grades from may. You just can’t go wrong with one.
The Yeti 2.0 just can’t be beaten value wise, but I don’t love it. A bit big for me.
I have a magicyoyo t9 that cost me £7 and it’s surprisingly good. A little heavy with a bit of an inconsistent response, but I might even silicone it and see if it improves things.
A yoyo that I do genuinely love and is on the cheaper side, is the Onedrop Intro. It’s solid colour model is $44 so it’s not the cheapest yoyo you can buy but I do really think it’s one of the best for the price. It feels like it should cost more due to the quality and solid feel and you could easily compare it to many higher end throws and it could stand up to them.
If all my yoyos got vaporized, one of the first ones I’d buy is the Intro.
The Intro is great. I agree.
Magic Yoyo is also a great budget option for sure. I have the Hotdiggity and it is a pretty dang good yoyo. I am just not a huge fane of the v shape. But it grinds, thumb grinds, has a dimple for finger spins, and spins well. Overall excellent.
There are so many in the 40-50 range that are fantastic.
In for Hot Diggidy! Spins great, stable, good hand feel, great grind finish, IRG and a great fingerspin dimple - an all around banger for about $30. I keep one in the glovebox of my car and one on my end table. LOVE that throw.
