It seems the tidbits of up to date information are Few and Far Between’.
I don’t know if this is the correct ‘word’ to use?
But When a small start-up like Few and Far Between just kinda fades out, it just makes me feel kinda sad.
Kinda like when you’re a little kid and there is a Carnival down the street. And your parents take you to the Carnival, 3 days in a row. And every day you have fun and your mind kind of blends into the Carnival mood. You just feel like that is what life is about. A lot of fun and looking forward to getting some good sleep and then having more fun.
The 4th day, you walk down to the Carnival yourself.
And it’s gone…. No tents. No games. No Clowns. No cotton candy. No nothing.
Nobody bothered to tell you that the Carnival was only 3 days long.
So you remember the whistle you won. And think back of all the candy you ate. And the new friends you made. And you have those memories, but that’s about it.
Some of the Boutique Makers bring good energy and good products and good intentions and a promising future of performance skill toys.
But sometimes, sadly, even with the best of intentions, Life gets in the way and the train ends up changing directions. It goes down the track, and may never come back.
But then again….. the actual name of the business may have lent a prediction, ‘Few And Far Between’?
So our game plan should simply be to play with what we were lucky enough to get, and keep a Wishful eye on that train track. We may just hear that whistle blow again.
In the meantime, I will just blow that whistle I won at the Carnival.
The end/but then again, maybe not
